Isafjordur Tours

Contact Isafjordur Tours

We are a small editorial team that compares the day trips, boat tours and private days running out of Ísafjörður, and keeps the practical figures on this site current.

If you have already booked

Your booking is with the tour operator, not with us. The confirmation email you received carries their contact details and their reference, and they are the only people who can move a date, add a traveller or issue a refund. Every trip listed here but one refunds in full up to 24 hours before it starts.

If something on this site is wrong

Tell us. Prices, museum seasons and road conditions move, and a figure that was right in September may not be right in March. If you have just come back and found something different from what this site says, that is the most useful message we get. Email hello@isafjordurtours.com.

Where we are writing about

Ísafjörður

Hafnarstræti, 400 Ísafjörður, Vestfirðir, Iceland

Getting there

Icelandair fly from Reykjavík City Airport in about 40 minutes. By road it is roughly 454 km and about six hours from Reykjavík, and the Baldur ferry shortens part of that. Full detail on visiting Isafjordur.

Hours

The town has none — it is not a gated site, and neither is Dynjandi. The museums and the Bolafjall road do have seasons, and they are listed on visiting Isafjordur.

Working with us

We do not sell tours and we do not take payment for placement. Operators who would like a factual correction to how their trip is described here should write to the same address with the product code, and we will check it against their own listing. How this site is funded is set out on the affiliate disclosure.
